There are many things that attract newcomers to the area, some of
which are the family values and integrity of our residents, the recreational
possibilities and mild climate.
Family oriented activities:
there is something for every member of the family regardless of age, from sports and recreation to shopping, or a leisure dinner at one of our many fine restaurants.

While we are growing as a community, it is our goal
to preserve our uniqueness by revitalizing the downtown areas of both Hemet and
San Jacinto.
The Hemet/San Jacinto area is projected to become a very
desirable tourist attraction, due largely to Diamond Valley Lake's completion
and its many recreational opportunities.

New homes are being constructed and businesses continue to
locate within our boundaries. Many of the local senior communities are
renovating in order to provide desirable accommodations for a newly retired
segment of our population.
The City of Hemet opened the doors of the 49,000 square foot
state-of-the-art library on June 21, 2003.

As our Community grows, the prospects are outstanding for a prosperous future. Affordable housing, industrial and commercial land prices, easy access to San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County, and an abundant work force and recreational opportunities make the area appealing.
